The absolute worst Mr. President album. Avoid it! - I don t know what happened there. After two great albums, Up n away and We See The Same Sun, they released this bad album. There are only three good tracks. Really good ones. But the rest is simply awful. These 3 good tracks are :Jojo Action - A sort of follow-up to Coco Jamboo, very nice.Happy People - Even more similar to Coco Jamboo, this is my personal favourite track on this album.I Wanna Give My Love To You - A very nice eurodance track.Why couldn t the WHOLE album be like that?The rest is so bad. One thing that even made it worse is the album version of Take Me To The Limit. It is NOT the awesome fast eurodance radio version that is on the single. It is actually an awful sort of breakbeat version that makes this one of the worst tracks here instead of being the best if it was the radio version. The rest is bad. I Won t Let You Down is exactly in the same style as this album version of Take Me To The Limit. Inline-Outline sounds so dated. Well, no more than 3 good tracks here.MY FINAL ADVICE : Buy the singles JoJo Action, Happy People and Take Me To The Limit and you have almost everything you need from this album. DO NOT BUY THIS CD IF YOU ARE EXPECTING GOOD EURODANCE SOUND!!!!!
What Went Wrong, You Guys??!! - Mr. President s 1997 album, Night Club, is one of the biggest disappointments of my Euro-Dance collection! I have a huge love for Mr. President s other albums (Mr. President & Space Gate) and all of their incredible Euro-Dance hits. They are truly one of Euro-Dance s greatest influences, with their happy-go-lucky party sound. But the huge misstep of the Night Club album is unfathomable. The songs are all either 1980 s retreads or heavy club thumping tunes. The only decent songs on here are HAPPY PEOPLE(#7) and I WANNA GIVE MY LOVE TO YOU(#10). HAPPY PEOPLE falls more into the COCO JAMBOO/SIMBOLEO category, and it turns out to be a pretty okay summer song. I WANNA GIVE MY LOVE TO YOU is a barely mediocre song that is just an upbeat pop song with a little bit of the well-known Mr. President sound. I bought this album simply to complete my collection of Mr. President s works. However, I strongly don t recommend this album to those expecting the Mr. President sound that we all know and love.
